To make sure everything goes smoothly, Journeys of Distinction offer a rare and exceptional service; a Tour Manager who accompanies your tour group and acts as your very own travel PA.
Your Tour Manager is the linchpin of the whole tour. They’ll meet you at Heathrow, either at check-in or in the executive lounge, and accompany you throughout your journey, until you land back in London. They’ll make sure you always know where you’re supposed to be, they organise all your trips and excursions, and help you make the most of every moment.
They’re also wonderful at making everyone feel relaxed, enthused and part of the group, helping build camaraderie as you share life-changing experiences together.
On each individual tour or excursion, you’ll also be joined by a Local Guide. Native to the country, their heartfelt connections and in-depth knowledge of customs, traditions, history and lifestyle will bring you closer to real local life. As they tell stories and paint pictures in your mind’s eye, you’ll really get a flavour for each place you visit. We think of them as our ‘insiders’ as they’re totally immersed in the local culture and can share little-known gems with you.
