Day 1 Cusco to Puerto Maldonado
On day 17 of your main tour, instead of flying to Lima for your last night and farewell dinner, you’ll fly directly to Puerto Maldonado for a remarkable rainforest experience. You’ll transfer to the lodge via river boat, take a guided nature walk and then enjoy dinner in the evening.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner.
Lodge: Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica.
Days 2 & 3 Reserva Amazonica
For a bird’s eye view of the rainforest canopy, you’ll go on a treetop walk 29 metres up, on a suspension bridge network linking eight observation platforms. Later on, you have the option of an excursion to Tambopata National Reserve, where you’ll glide in a wooden canoe across beautiful Sandoval Lake, home to the endangered giant river otter, red howler monkeys, red-bellied macaws, anacondas and many colourful birds.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4 Reserva Amazonica to Lima
This afternoon, you’ll fly to Lima.

Day 5 Fly to London
Evening flight to London Heathrow via Madrid, arriving the following day.
