Where is Costa Rica
Costa Rica is in Central America, the land bridge between the large continents of North and South America, and has a long coastline of both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Due to this position and topography it attracts wonderful wildlife with migrating birds from the north and south and with mountains, jungle and beach it has an amazing natural diversity.
Costa Rican Cuisine
Costa Rica is probably most famous for its coffee and around the capital, San Jose and the central valley you will see a number of coffee plantations and might like to visit one. Due to its climate and natural abundance, Costa Rica is a major producer and exporter of tropical fruit, and you will see plantations scattered around the country. In Costa Rica you will find all type of international food on offer, national dishes are based on meat such as pork or beef with rice, black beans and fresh local vegetables.
