Where is Argentina?
Argentina is the second largest country in South America, occupying what is known as the ‘Southern Cone’ with Chile. This huge country spreads from the high plains of the Andes bordering Bolivia, across to the sub tropical grasslands of the north around Iguazu, with the wide expanse of the Pampa down the Patagonia and the island of Tierra Del Fuego on the southern ocean.

Argentine Cuisine
Argentina is justly famous for its love of meat, with great herd of cattle raised on the Pampas plains. Any restaurant in Buenos Aires and across the country will serve succulent steaks cooked on the ‘asado’ grill, and at a very reasonable price. There are also very strong Italian influences and excellent pasta dishes are popular. These can all be taken with Argentina’s excellent wines. The traditional bitter herbal infusion, of mate remains popular and is an Argentine ritual.
