Extend your Holiday

Victoria Falls Extension

Day 1 Johannesburg to Livingstone
When you arrive at the airport, you’ll transfer to your hotel on the Zambia side of Victoria Falls.

Days 2 & 3 Victoria Falls
You have three full days to enjoy your surroundings and explore; you have various optional excursions to choose from, including a cruise on the upper Zambezi, wildlife watching and safaris.

Day 4 Depart Livingstone
This morning you’ll transfer back to Livingstone airport for your return flight, via Johannesburg.

Day 5 Arrive Heathrow
Your flight lands this morning.

Day 1 Depart Heathrow
Your overnight flight departs this evening.

Day 2 Arrive Cape Town
At the airport, you’ll meet your local guide and embark on a city tour which includes a cable car trip up Table Mountain and a walk through the Malay Quarter to visit the District Six Museum. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace.

Day 3 Cape Town
This morning, you’ll set off for the Cape Peninsula, past Camps Bay and Hout Bay, along Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape Peninsula National Park. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 4 Cape Town
You’re free to explore Cape Town today or choose an optional excursion to the Cape Winelands.

Day 5 Cape Town to Knysna
You’ll travel the Garden Route to the lagoon town of Knysna, stopping off at Swellendam en route arriving mid afternoon.

Day 6 Knysna
A full day sightseeing, you’ll visit Oudtshoorn and a local ostrich farm, as well as the Cango Caves.

Day 7 Knysna
You set the pace today; either relax, explore further, or take an optional excursion to the Featherbed Nature Reserve.

Day 8 Knysna to Durban
After a visit to Plettenburg Bay, you’ll transfer to Port Elizabeth International Airport. If you’re on the 9-day tour, you’ll fly to Johannesburg for your homeward flight. If you’re on the 16-day tour, you’ll fly on to Durban.

Day 9 Durban
On your free day, there are plenty of optional excursions to choose from, including a visit to uShaka Marine World or a tour of the Nelson Mandela Route of Freedom including the Kwa Mulhe Museum.

Day 10 Durban to Swaziland
You’ll set off early for a full day travelling to the mountainous kingdom of Swaziland, stopping off in Zululand en route for lunch and a dancing show.

Day 11 Swaziland to Mpumalanga
Enjoy a relaxing morning before making the journey to Mpumalanga arriving early afternoon. You’ll have the rest of the day to yourself before dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 12 Mpumalanga
Today is action-packed with an exhilarating game drive in the Kruger National Park and a fascinating cultural experience over dinner at the Shangaan River Club.

On your way to Pretoria, you’ll travel the Panorama Route, passing the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, the Three Rondavels and God's Window.

Day 14 Pretoria – Johannesburg – Pretoria
