Where is South Africa
One of the largest countries in Africa, South Africa includes the continent’s southern tip and the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. It stretches across vast plains, tropical coastline, soaring mountain peaks, vibrant cities and great rivers and borders with Botswana, Namibian and Zimbabwe in the north. This large country offers a great variety of habitats and things to see and do.

South African Cuisine
South African cuisine has a justifiably excellent reputation, which is great value, so is a great destination for foodies. Local flavours are easy to find and to taste across the country. By the coast, try excellent fresh fish and seafood, served in a variety of ways. In the cities, try piri piri chicken, or the heart bobotje casserole. The food in Africa’s game parks is a notable highlight, try well prepared succulent stakes of kudu, ostrich or warthog as well as more usual meats popularly cooked on a large braai (barbeque). Biltong is a popular snack of dried meat and is great with some cold Castle or Windhoek lager! Plus of course South African wine, red or white, is excellent quality and is great value in any restaurant.
