Where is Jordan?
Jordan is located in the heart of the lands of the bible, with the Red Sea to the south, and the fabled Jordan River in the west, running into the Dead Sea. Jordan has a hilly spine, offering hidden valleys and ancient sites, such as the legendary Mount Nebo and the beautiful, stark desert canyons of Wadi Rum.
Jordanian Cuisine
The food of Jordan is similar to it’s neighbours in the middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean, with staples such as couscous, hummus and falafel served with mezze plates , tasty grilled meats and sweet, nutty deserts. Bedouin food in the desert is renowned for it’s delicious camp fire barbeques, and across the country you may be offered refreshing, sweet mint tea.
