Day 2 CairoOn this morning’s tour you’ll visit famous Egyptian Museum, which includes Tutankhamun exhibition and the Royal Mummies Hall. In the afternoon you
can take Cairo at your own pace and we recommend you explore the Citadel
and the Khan El Kalili bazaar.Meals: BreakfastHotel: Mövenpick Giza.
Day 3 CairoAnother half day tour takes you to the Pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx. This afternoon, you’re free to roam, or join an optional excursion to ancient Memphis. You also have the option of booking tickets to the Sound and Light show at the Pyramids.Meals: BreakfastHotel: Mövenpick Giza
Day 4 Cairo to LuxorYou’ll fly from Cairo to Luxor today and transfer to the Nile to board the M/S Hamees for a 4 night cruise. You’ll be served a welcome drink as you set sail along the East Bank to visit the Temples of Karnak. You’ll then continue on to the beautiful temple of Luxor, dedicated to the God Amun.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerOvernight: M/S Hamees.
Day 5 Nile Cruise: West Bank and EsnaThis morning you’ll visit the West Bank, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens; the famous Royal burial places. You’ll see the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi Memnon before sailing towards Edfu, passing through the lock at Esna.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerOvernight: M/S Hamees.
Day 6 Nile Cruise: Edfu and Kom OmboAfter breakfast on board, you’ll embark on a morning visit to Horus Temple at Edfu. This Greek-built temple is one of the best-preserved in the Nile Valley. You’ll then sail on to Kom Ombo to visit the temple shared by the two Gods, Sobek and Haroeris, which is set on a bend in the river. Your cruise then continues on to Aswan to moor overnight.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerOvernight: M/S Hamees
Day 7 Nile Cruise: Aswan High Dam and Unfinished ObeliskYour morning tour takes in Aswan’s High Dam, which took 11 years to build. You’ll then continue on to visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which was abandoned when it developed a crack during construction. Before lunch, you’ll also visit Philae Temple, another of the wonders of the ancient world, dedicated to the Goddess Isis. This afternoon, after lunch back on the cruise ship, you’ll board a traditional felucca on the Nile to sail over to Kitchener and Elephantine Islands.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerOvernight: M/S Hamees.
