Destination introduction

Australia gives you everything you imagine – and a lot more. Yes, there’s the sun, the beaches, the Great Barrier Reef, the outback, the koalas and kangaroos. But there are also glittering, cosmopolitan cities – and restaurants where you expect the fine wines, but not some of the world’s finest cuisine.

Did you know? The Australian Alps, or Snowy Mountains, receive more snow than Switzerland.
