Destination introduction

They call Thailand the Land of Smiles. But it’s much more than that. “Thai” means free. Thailand has never been colonised. Thailand is deeply religious; the beautiful Wats with their golden spires, the monks in their saffron robes are testimony to that. Thailand is beautiful: its great rivers, sweeping, white sand beaches remind you of that. Thailand has a proud history, its ancient capitals bear witness to it. And Thailand is unforgettable. Your memories will confirm it.
