For thousands of years people have cruised down the Nile. Now you will on one of the Nile’s most luxurious cruisers. Sitting beneath an awning on a floating hotel, sipping an iced beverage, perhaps fanned by a soft breeze – marvellous! As you follow the route taken by long dead Pharaohs along the mighty river you explore great temples, visit the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and marvel at colossal monuments. Can you imagine a more agreeable way to pass the time?

The M/S Darakum offers 5 star comfort and service. There are only 52 cabins, so you can expect a genuinely personal service. All are well appointed with either twin beds or a king-size bed, a private bathroom with bath and hair dryer, mini-bar, satellite TV, air conditioning and a safe deposit box; not forgetting large windows to capture the views. On board, there’s a large restaurant serving high quality food, a lounge bar, a good old-fashioned pub, a gift shop and a mini gym. The sundeck features a swimming pool, recreation area and a bar.
